1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SG Hunt ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SG Hunt is a macOS application that helps collectors search, track, and bid on items on eBay. The App provides:

• Search functionality across eBay marketplaces
• Watch list management
• Saved search alerts
• Bidding assistance (snipe/ambush features)
• AI-powered item analysis
• Messaging with eBay sellers

3. eBay Account Required

To use most features, you must have a valid eBay account. By connecting your eBay account to SG Hunt, you authorize us to access eBay on your behalf in accordance with eBay's API Terms of Use.

5. AI Features

Certain features use artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to analyze items. AI analysis is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional appraisal, authentication, or financial advice.

6. Bidding and Purchases

• Your Responsibility: All bids and purchases are made through your eBay account. You are solely responsible for your bidding decisions and any resulting purchases.
• Snipe/Ambush Feature: The bidding assistance feature places bids on your behalf at times you specify. Technical issues may prevent bids from being placed. We are not responsible for failed bids or missed auctions.
• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee you will win any auction or that prices shown are accurate.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Violate eBay's Terms of Service
• Attempt to circumvent eBay's security or rate limits
• Use the App to harass sellers or other users
• Reverse engineer or modify the App
• Resell or redistribute the App

8. Intellectual Property

SG Hunt, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Tier 4 Support Inc. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIER 4 SUPPORT INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Lost profits or revenue
• Failed bids or purchases
• Inaccurate item information
• AI analysis errors
• Data loss

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tier 4 Support Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Subscription and Payments

If you subscribe to premium features:

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store
• You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
